Tourism

Main Attractions

Historic Center of Lima

Centro histórico de Lima, where the buildings surrounding the Plaza de Armas seem frozen in time, still preserves many of the colonial balconies reminiscent of old Lima. Visit the Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Martín, Government Palace, churches, and convents (Lima Cathedral, Santo Domingo, San Francisco and its Catacombs, Las Nazarenas).

Miraflores Boardwalk
Costa Verde

Malecón de Miraflores / Costa verde: Perfect for a sunset stroll. Along the boardwalk, you’ll find several parks (El Faro, Parque Chino, Parque del Amor), seaside cafés (Beso Francés, Buena Vista Café), and Larcomar, a shopping center located on the boardwalk with restaurants and bars overlooking the ocean.

Barranco District

Distrito de Barranco: Known as Lima’s bohemian district, Barranco features unique and picturesque architecture, with beautiful streets such as Malecón Mariscal Ramón Castilla, Pedro de Osma Avenue, and Jirón Domeneyer, where old mansions have been transformed into bars and museums. Must-visit spots include the Bridge of Sighs (Puente de los Suspiros), Barranco’s Plaza de Armas, Bajada de Baños, and the Catalina Recavarren Viewpoint.
